Meaningful Use Downloads
USHIK provides resources to assist users in consuming the Meaningful Use Clinical Quality Measures published by CMS and the value sets published by the
National Library of Medicine's Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) in support of the Meaningful Use incentive payment programs. The source of
truth for these artifacts is CMS and NLM VSAC; users of USHIK are encouraged to consult these resources in conjunction with USHIK.

The downloads listed below which contain Concept Codes and Descriptions from various Code Systems supplied by the National Library of Medicine (NLM)

Sharing Value Sets (SVS) XML
Download XML files in the SVS format which contain all of the value set versions utilized by any measures in the selected releases.
Value Set Comma-Separated (CSV)
Download CSV files which contain all of the value set versions utilized by any measures in the selected releases.
Single File XML
Download an XML file and schema which contains all 2014 CQMs, Quality Data Elements, value sets, and Concept Codes & Descriptions.
This file contains the same content as the CSV 'flat file' but is formatted as an XML file.
MS Excel™ Spreadsheet
Download a Microsoft Excel™ 2007 file (*.xlsx) which contains all 2014 CQMs, Quality Data Elements, value sets, and Concept Codes & Descriptions.

April 2014 Eligible Hospital eCQMs, value sets, and downloads are now available. This includes the files generated for the April 2014 Eligible Hospitals measures and new "latest" files which include any value sets utilized by either the April 2014 Eligible Hospitals measures or the June 2013 Eligible Professionals measures.
Corrected an error in the December 2012 Eligible Professionals files which caused several Quality Data Elements to be included without their value sets.

versions of both Eligible Professionals measures and value sets and the latest versions of Eligible Hospitals measures and value sets.
The download files available on this page includes the updated version of CMS182v3 which was released (corrected) after the June 14 release date.

Eligible Hospitals measures and value sets (which were released on April 1, 2013) and the latest versions of Eligible Professionals measures and value sets.

The Flat File / XML extracts have been updated with the release of the version 2 2014 CQMs. These extract files now refer to the latest version
of all of the 2014 CQMs and value sets.
The CSV and XLSX files were updated to include columns indicating the version of each CQM and the NQF Identifier of each CQM, if available.

The Flat File / XML extract were updated to include a column indicating that CQMs are in either the "Eligible Hospital" or "Eligible Professional Sets"
A Microsoft Excel™ 2007 file format of the "flat file" has been made available. This file contains the same contents as the CSV but is pre-imported with attention given to
importing the data in such a manner as to respect data issues such as leading zeros.
